This was such a fun comic book to jump into. The story is so captivating and keeps you hooked to every panel. The art is superb, which is clea to see just by looking at the cover art and variant covers. I can't wait to see what's next for Wolverine: Blood Hunt! Read Full Review
Wolverine: Blood Hunt #1 is a good fight comic with plenty of slashing from Logan paired well with captions that remind us he feels every bit of pain along the way. Read Full Review
There's not much to say about Wolverine: Blood Hunt story-wise. It's quite detached from the event comic, Wolverine's solo title just wrapped last week so there's not an ongoing story to weave into and vampires have tagged in to be the latest horde for Logan to mow his way through. Read Full Review

Classic Wolverine setup, great art, good action, interesting callback. I really liked this issue, even though it appears to be setting up a pretty cookie-cutter Wolverine adventure. That's ok, I like cookies.

A solid first issue, but it didn't really pick up all that much for me until the end. A lot of the dialogue and inner monologue wasn't my favorite, as it just felt a bit too generic, but the twist with Maverick at the end was intriguing. Also, Ryp's art was good throughout and I felt that it fit the story. Hopefully things pick up a little bit with the next issue.
