For as long as I have reviewed this title, it has been outdoing itself on all aspects. Next month's 25th issue will be big, but don't wait until then to start treating yourself to one of the most deliberate and potent action comics that has the audacity to be brilliant. Read Full Review
It's been two years now since the debut of X-O MANOWAR, and it's been two years on consistently brilliant storytelling on the part of Venditti. I honestly would have never thought this would become one of my favorite titles, but it never fails to please. This issue really pushes the story forward and onto the upcoming Armor Hunters story, while closing out the last two-part story. The writing is top notch and the art is beautiful. This is a book everyone should be reading as it is the top book Valiant is putting out. Overall, I highly recommend this issue. Read Full Review
I can't explain how on board I am for Armor Hunters, after reading this issue, and it's not because of some gimmick. X-O Manowar's "Prelude To Armour Hunters" arc lured me in purely with awesome storytelling. Both the arc and the issue is an overwhelmingly job well done. The execution of the creative team is superb. Read Full Review
If the twist wasn't so damn exciting this would be a so-so issue mainly because not a lot happens. Then again, that “not a lot” is exciting as hell. A great issue that has it all. Read Full Review
But arguably the best part about this book is the ending, in which we get to actually see the armor hunters in action. It seems that their goal is to destroy all the X-O suits, and their next target, as it happens, is Aric. This issue is all around a great comic. It's got action, plot progression, and great character moments, plus it sets up what's looking like an absolutely amazing story arc in the coming months. When all's said and done, this is great series, and one you should definitely give a chance if you're even remotely interested in quality science fiction tales. Read Full Review
As usual, X-O Manowar #24 is a great lead-in to a bigger event and a chance for readers to feel both greatness and humility through Aric's eyes. This issue makes the anticipation for Armor Hunters palpable and exciting. X-O Manowar continues it's dominance as the flagship title for Valiant and with the plethora of great titles under their imprint that's saying a lot! This whole series is worth all the time and invest in not just great superhero stories but simply great storytelling! Read Full Review
Overall this is a great way to increase interest in Valiant's upcoming event while giving us the readers a better idea of what we need to know before it all begins. Read Full Review
X-O Manowar really has developed into the flagship of the Valiant Universe, and not just in name only, and by the time Armor Hunters hits, I think readers will be ready for an event that properly integrates multiple aspects of the line into it. It all starts here though, and this issue was as rock solid as ever. Read Full Review
After a three-page introduction to them in "X-O Manowar" #24, this issue also includes a five-page preview of "Armor Hunters" #1, giving readers plenty to look forward to. When readers meet the hunters in the story proper, Venditti and Bernard sell them as total cutthroats. They also weave in an undeniable connection to X-O Manowar, setting up a battle for the ages. From start to finish, the creative team on "X-O Manowar" #24 really pack in the action and excitement. Given everything that has happened to and around Aric of Darcia, readers of this series might be hard to impress, but this issue offers plenty to impress and serves as a splendid introduction to the characters, the armor and the Valiant Universe. Even though its already been said a hundred times, heres one more: You, yes you, the reader, need to go out and pick up X-O Manowar. Even if you just start with the last issue or you go back and get all the trades or you start with the special 25th issue next month. However you do it, do it. Venditti and all artists involved are crafting, and have crafted, something excellent. It might be bold to say, considering the quality from Valiant, but X-O Manowar is their best title and it shows no signs of slowing down. Read Full Review
Italia - questo volumetto ha veramente tutto.il primo scontro è gestito benissimo, l'inconsapevolezza di Aric e l'innocenza sono visibili fin da subito. La parte finale fa capire che ora si comincerà a giocare forte.
About everything you can ask for is in this issue. Expertly rendered action, character development, humour, impending doom, universe expansion. I'm stoked Armor Hunters.
