Controversial opinion, but this event was a mess. Art was inconsistent, Ben Reilly, Madelyn Pyror get ruined (Madelyn Pyror invaded New York and killed innocent people because she wanted memories. All she needed to do was tell Jean Grey to make a copy of Peter Parker's memory to ben Reilly and all of this will be solved). bland action, Peter Parker loses more than he wins and gets embarrassed and he doesnt do anything. Venom is dumbed down. Ending was embarrassing with Peter Parker just watching while everyone does the work for him. Overall, just a complete mess. this was the beginning of the downfall for Zeb Wells Spidey run. It's debatable on which event was worse. Sinister War or Dark Web.
