Venom #14 is a fun addition to Dark Web, with so much to enjoy. This a plot with a lot going on, combining hidden agenda and manipulation with an awesome battle between two characters who are rarely in the same circle. Dark Web brings figures together with loose connections and makes them work brilliantly. But at the same time, the progress of the Venom mythos is still growing. I love this
Al Ewing turns zeb wells' event disaster into a masterpiece with this tie-in and develops eddie to continue his cycle now becoming beddlam
8 for the story. 4 for that terrible cover.
It's way better than it has any right to be.
For an event as messy and badly written as Dark Web, Ewing does make this work.
I do wish it focused on Eddie more than Janice.
Not really even a Venom book until the end. It was OK, I guess. Not really that exciting.
