Not sure why this issue is being considered a disappointment, it was a lot of fun. I would recommend that you read Action Comics 973-974 before reading this issue. I found it makes Superman 17 so much better leading into the upcoming Superman Reborn crossover and clarifies the identity of the "slender man" terrorizing Jon and Kathy. |
