I STILL LOVE GREEN ARROW THOUGH!!!
"EMERALD OUTLAW" finale! The biggest GREEN ARROW epic since the start of the Rebirth era comes to a shattering conclusion when Oliver, Emiko and Black Canary unite against the deadly assassin terrorizing Seattle's most prominent citizens. But [REDACTED] won't go down without a fight-even if it takes all of Seattle with him.
RATED T+
If anyone had doubts of Green Arrow's place among the more established heroes this is a good issue to hand them. The opening clearly makes it apparent this dude is a hero to the core and with the action and plot developments so on point in this issue this is a book to keep your eyes on. Read Full Review
I've really been enjoying this series. The pacing of the story is perfect, the story is fresh yet familiar (maybe too familiar at times but that's to be expected) the Ninth Circle are badass and the art has even improved! The details are getting better and the colors are really well done. Loved the art in the first couple of pages when Ollie is making his new bow. Read Full Review
This is a pretty good issue. I enjoyed the political nature of the issue with the ties to the real world. Art can be a way of coping with and understanding the real world. Schmidt's artwork is really great with some pretty scenery and kick-ass action. Read Full Review
A solid-story with above average art that fails to stick the landing mainly because it tries to echo certain elements of the show without fully committing to it. DC really needs to un-cuff this creative team from any editorial direction that might be forcing the TV stuff into the mix. This book is close to being one of DC's killer apps, but the commercialization of the plot-line is skewing it away from being the slam dunk that it could be. Read Full Review
This issue continues in a same old same old fashion until Ben Percy throws everything on it's ear with a huge twist. It was big enough to get me excited for next issue, but not as excited as who looks to be coming to town. Read Full Review
Green Arrow might not have hit a bulls eye with the Emerald Outlaw finale, but this was still an enjoyable read. Percy has set things up nicely going forward for Oliver Queen and with the return of his original sidekick, the fun is only getting started. Read Full Review
This is consistently one of my favorite Rebirth titles. This is the Ollie and Dinah I know and love. Percy has done a great job inserting the character of Green Arrow into today’s political landscape. The taste of the New 52 Green Arrow is out of my mouth, and we’re getting some insight into the past of the character that up until now has been pretty fuzzy since the reboot in 2012. I’m hoping we’re to the point where the team is going to start rebuilding the character, but I’m afraid Ollie might have some more drama ahead of him before we get there. I’ll be there either way. The ending really was confusing, but I think it will have a good explanation in later issues. The other still matches the story style and the story is still maintaining my interest.
The problem in the series is endings. Good artwork but everything happens so fast.
Not good ending, weak ending, weak fight scene.. all that hype from the 6 issues but mediocre.. goddamn man!!! Fucking disappointment!!! This is the second time he does this kind of writing.. tsk
