Silk #5 |
Jun 13, 2015 |
Overall, Silk continues to be a solid series so far. While a bit slow in this issue, my hopes for this series is still at an all-time high. Here's hoping this next issue knocks it out of the ballpark. |

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2011) #46 |
May 28, 2015 |
This issue did a fantastic job showing us everyone before the end game. It was nice to get an issue that showed us where everyone is at and where everything is going. This issue gave me the feeling that these next few issues, something big is going to happen. I don't know what it is but I guarantee you that we don't see it coming. |

Master of Kung Fu (2015) #1 |
May 24, 2015 |
If you're a fan of old Martial Arts films and Marvel characters. I highly recommend picking up Masters of Kung Fu #1. This was a fantastic first issue that has me excited for what is to come when more issues come out. I know most fans don't pick up tie-in books but this is one of those that you need too. If for anything else, it's just a good read. |

Action Comics (2011) #35 |
Oct 1, 2014 |
Overall, this is my pick of the week Nation. If its one issue you read this week it has to be Action Comics #35. Greg Pak and his team really knocked it out of the ball park with this issue and I'm definitely looking forward to what's in store. |

Captain America (2012) #25 |
Oct 1, 2014 |
Rick Remender's Captain America run is over and there has definitely been some good and bad moments but it does end on a very good high note. Seeing Sam Wilson dressed as Captain America made me smile Nation. I do wish we didn't know about it prior but the build up and the moment was still enjoyable. Overall, I'm looking forward to All New Captain America this November. |

X-Men: No More Humans #1 |
May 24, 2014 |
Overall thoughts, this was a really solid read. I don't have any complaints minus wanting Mike Cary, Salvador Larroca, Justin Ponsor, Matt Millia, Jermory Cox, and Guru-Efx team up once again and bring us an ongoing or another OGN. This creative team really did their thing and the plot itself was pretty good as well. |

Archer & Armstrong (2012) #0 |
Feb 5, 2014 |
This issue was a great jumping on point for those who haven't been reading the series. For long time readers of the series, you will be in for a pleasant surprise when you read the last page of the issue. All I can say is Mission Improbable is a go! If it's one book that should be on your pull list, it has to be Archer and Armstrong. |

Jan 15, 2014 |
Overall Archer and Armstrong continues to be a great series. It continues to be a great book and while I was a bit disappointed with the "middle" of the issue. The beginning and end are very strong. So I recommend stick with this series. |

Archer & Armstrong (2012) #16 |
Dec 11, 2013 |
Overall, this arc of Archer & Armstrong has hooked me. It's also caused to start buying some of the trades so I can know what adventures our heroes went on before this current arc. While this isn't an issue a new reader should read as I feel they would miss out on a lot of things. The issue itself was another great issue. Valiant Comics, Fred Lente, and Khari Evans know what they're doing with this series and I can't ask for anything else as a reader. |

Avengers Arena #17 |
Nov 13, 2013 |
If you like art work by Kev Walker and Jason Gorder then this is the book for you. If you like mediocre storytelling with teenage superheroes then this might be the book for you. If you want to check out a series where superheroes and super villains are in this situation but more compelling then I recommend checking out Deathmatch by Boom Studios! |

Marvel Knights X-Men #1 |
Nov 13, 2013 |
Overall if you find yourself wanting a story where the stakes aren't world ending. Then I highly recommend picking up this first issue and going from there. The story itself has me hooked and its reminding me why I fell in love with the X-Men. Also this was my first time reading something by Brahm Revel and it makes me want to check out his other work as well. |

Shadowman (2012) #12 |
Nov 6, 2013 |
Overall, if you want a taste of what Shadowman is all about then I recommend picking up this issue. Yes, you will be confused about who the characters are if this is your first introduction to them but I felt like the stories here still worked if you didn't have the Shadowman universe being the background for where these stories took place. Overall I recommend picking up this issue featuring the New Orleans hero. It was some great stories featuring the Shadowman and that's all that matters. |

Archer & Armstrong (2012) #14 |
Oct 8, 2013 |
Overall thoughts, I have to say that it was a good introduction to the Archer and Armstrong corner of the Valiant Universe. I highly recommend picking up this issue if you're a newcomer and want to get into a Valiant series. I know I want to go back and read some of the past issues of Archer and Armstrong now. So, Valiant, you can consider that a win in your books. You have a new reader in me who will now put this series on their pull list from here on out. |

All-New X-Men: Special #1 |
Oct 2, 2013 |
Overall, I really enjoyed this special issue Herotaku Nation. I felt as though both the story and art was strong. My only problem was the five dollar price tag for a thirty pages of story content. Otherwise then, it was worth reading. I say, if you can get it for a dollar cheaper than go for it. I don't regret picking up this issue and you people read it as well. While Mike Costa isn't Brian Bendis, he still gets the job done. |

Green Arrow (2011) #24 |
Oct 2, 2013 |
Green Arrow has become my number one title from DC Comics at this time. This book has everything I love about comics in it with each and every issue. Green Arrow by Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino is a must read book and if you're not reading it, I question the books you read. Month to month, I look forward to this book with joy and it hasn't failed to deliver. Pick up this issue and go for it because I don't see this books quality dropping anytime soon. |

Mighty Avengers (2013) #2 |
Oct 2, 2013 |
Final thoughts, it was another strong issue for this series so far. I'm really enjoying seeing these heroes trying to fight off this invasion and that The Blue Marvel has now entered the battle. I'm looking forward to seeing how he will effect the outcome. I highly recommend checking out Mighty Avengers. For a series that was produced thanks to an event, it's been a good ride so far. I'm really looking forward to issue three. |

Overall thoughts, I really enjoyed this issue. It's only 0.99 cents so it would be a cheap purchase for something that has a lot of good quality writing and art. Also for those who miss seeing a upbeat Superman. Well Adventures of Superman has that for you and then some. So again I highly recommend picking up this book for not only yourself but your kids as well. |

Batman / Superman (2013) #3.1 |
Sep 25, 2013 |
Overall I found myself really enjoying this issue nation. There wasn't a thing I didn't enjoy about this issue. I mean Greg Pak's writing and Brett Booth's art work for me is a winning team. One of the best things about this issue is that you don't have to read prior issues to understand it and that to me is really important with some of these villain issues. So I highly recommend checking this one out. |

Superior Spider-Man Team-Up #3 |
Sep 25, 2013 |
Final thoughts it was a solid issue. While I wish this wasn't tying into Infinity I'm glad that it did as it has given me my first insights on what an Inhuman is and in a lot of ways has me excited for Inhumanity when it drops this December. If you're reading Superior Spider-Man Team-Up already pick up the issue and enjoy it. If you're not reading the series regularly then I leave it up to you to decide. |
