Whether youre Jewish or not, you will enjoy the love that went into it and maybe gain a new understanding of the Jewish people and the struggle of being a kid on the cusp of "adulthood."

That got deep. This is the best comic from Marvel this year hands down. It came full circle and delivered a heart wrenching story of a complicated man. This Magento mini sits up there with some of the best of Magneto stories and complements them well. The entire story was a winner through and through.

The Resurrection of Magneto starts and ends on a visual of Magneto, a man struggling, a man on the edge. But the story is just as much about him as it is about Storm, and the incredible connection and camaraderie between these two powerful mutants. It is a comic you do not want to miss if youve been on the Krakoa and Arakko train since day one.

Ewing and Vecchio continue to push Magneto to his literal limits, making for a strong, compelling and artisitically beautiful second issue that is just as strong as the first. This is an impressive feat considering the narrow scale of conflict compared to the first.

Dynamic, intriguing, and wonderfully drawn and written, this is a comic you cannot skip. Magneto nation is winning with not only great characterization but great story and art. Magneto is coming back to life, perhaps with a new outlook on it. But only time will tell what this Magneto will be like compared to previous incarnations.

DeMatteis is effectively writing a guide to understand Magneto in story format. Hands down this is probably one of, if not the best comic coming out of the big two. An absolute must read.

The first issue sets up a great premise while continuing Orlandos previous work. It is engaging and has enough twists and turn to make us tune into issue 2. Who is pulling strings? Is Magneto involved in this? What other forces are at play? If you liked Orlando's Scarlet With series, you have to pick up Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver.

It's also worth mentioning that the father/child dynamic between Magneto and Wanda also demonstrates a lack of forethought abut the characters and their relationship, as though Williams is going to unnecessarily extreme lengths to make Magneto the bad guy. It's a harsh implication to portray Magneto as the worst father ever and feels downright harsh, tarnishing an otherwise intriguing narrative.

The story seems a bit muddled, once again with unnecessary word choice and odd characterization for Magneto. Something is missing from the story that will hopefully be explained later, as will the odd dialogue and odd character choices. That being said it is worth picking up to continue the story, even though there are some odd choices it delivers a couple of interesting punches and plot threads.

Final thoughts: Captain Marvel Assault on Eden is a fun mini-adventure that really needs more issues about Carol or about the alliance or, preferably, both. It is chuck full of future story potential. Oliveira writes these characters with love and respect that all writers should strive for.

Although the art is not the best, the story and dialogue more than compensates by crafting an emotional character-driven tale that reminds us that Wiccan and Hulkling are a force to be reckoned with, whether they're fighting together, worlds apart, or right beside each other. Oliveira delivers a well-written and characterized one-shot set amid not just The Last Annihilation, but also continuing the threads that may be carried further into Trial of Magneto.

I liked this issue. It was fun, it wasnt super action-packed, but it didnt need to be. Kate continues to delight and shows why she is the best Hawkeye by helping people, and telling anybody off that needs to hear it.

Classic X-Men fans, we are back with Easter eggs and amazing nods to mutant history. It continues to be a compelling story that is leaving us hungry for more.

Tune in for Marvels Voices: Legends #1 celebrating amazing characters like Blade, Patriot aka Eli Bradley, Sam Wilson Captain America and many others. Coming February 2024 to a comic book store near you

The story continues to keep me hooked, the art did take some getting used to. But now, I think it does an amazing job with acrobatic action sequences that one would expect from a Hawkeye comic. All in all, this is a comic book everyone should be picking up. I am excited about the next issue.

Where is this going? I don't know. But I am fascinated to see where it goes. It's a fun time travel, multiversal shenanigan mystery, added in with a dose of "here's what Bishop's missing."

A brilliant in-depth and human/mutant look at Magneto, the person behind the helmet and how his views and his past continues to shape the present and the future. An amazing first issue that has us excited for more.

If Strange Academy is your game, and math is or isnt your friend, this is a fun conclusion to a fun and wild adventure with the Strange Academy kids.

If you've missed classic X-men level shenanigans, you will not want to miss grabbing a copy of Bishop: War College. Expect a few interesting cameos from fan favorites, and enjoy the beginning of what can be a fantastic and wild adventure.

Things are getting interesting, so if you weren't super enthused about the first issue, this might change your mind.

I'm having fun on this ride, and I hope you'll join me. This is certainly a unique take on the Clone Saga thus far and I hope it continues this momentum.

If you want a reminder of what the X-Men are or whos who, and what the vibe of the animated series was, or if youre not super familiar with the original show, X-men 97 the comic might be the reading material you need.

A suspenseful issue that does not let you breath,e and just when you think the Rangers might get somewhere there's still so much more to come.

Power Ranger fans and new fans will enjoy the issue.

Despite a lull in the last issue, the story picks up again, and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

It was a fun read for a quick mini, and I enjoyed it overall, though it did not illustrate its end goals very well, and the pacing was off. Give this a read if you want a Bishop story that's a bit more subdued, less trauma driven, and a little less Krakoan politics-heavy.

Solid middle of a run issue that continues the story and packs enough to keep you coming back for more.

If you've stuck with the story from the beginning or want to catch up on issue one, Marauders delivers an action-packed adventure. And it's a great continuation of the previous issues and stories, even if they will not be everyone's cup of tea with constant and at times overwhelming, and endless action with yet another attempt to rewrite mutant history.

If you need Billy and Teddy breadcrumbs and youve been loving this series so far, it is absolutely an issue you want to pick up, if you havent already.

If you're a fan of the original series and you miss Kevin Conroy, you will enjoy this issue. If you are looking for a more lighthearted but not silly version of Batman, this is also a fun issue to pick up. I would even say if you're looking to introduce someone to comics and they have seen the show, this might be a great place to start.

If you've missed Monica or are a fan of her, it's worth picking it up as part of your pull. Otherwise, it might be best to see where the story is taken next issue before adding it to your list.

Be sure to read the whole adventure and pick up issue five. Its a soft conclusion to a gentle comic about two sisters learning to love each other and understand each other.

The artistic scope and emotional journey conveyed throughout the previous issues are lacking here. Nevertheless, the promise of what is to come keeps me interested in the comic. But this was not as strong an issue as we have previously seen. I hope we see Cassie and America appear at some point, because otherwise, all the teasing is unfair.

If you liked previous stories about Drakkon and want to see the Ranger Slayer again and you were fascinated by Lord Drakkon, give it a read. It's not bad. But not my cup of tea.

This was ok at best and all over the place at worse. Although we know who killed Wanda and got a new status quo for Krakoa, it feels like it missed the mark completely. The Trial of Magneto might be the biggest misnomer in comics this year, if not the last five.

Intriguing with some fan favorite characters on a brand-new team. How will these guys get along? It is unclear. But what is clear is that this is a comic worth checking out.

Although the mystery surrounding Wanda is intriguing, it seems like Williams isn't sure of the direction she's taking the story. So much is already going on that isn't being addressed that I am left to wonder what the point is?

A little underwhelming. But a decent low-key story with an exciting dynamic rarely explored.

Yet Another story in a dystopian future trying to present something different or is it really all that different. If you love Bishop, and you love that dark X-men future, it is worth picking up. At the very least, as a reprieve from the Krakoan era.

View Issue       View Full Review

The issue fills in some blanks while finally moving Bishop's story forward. But it doesn't hold the same interest as it did at issue 1. Here's hoping Bishop either finds Tempest soon or gets tossed into another parallel world. You know? Just for fun!

This is not the Trail of Magneto, this is yet another convoluted Wanda Maximoff story, and we are just the spectators. We are running low on time for answers. At this point, Im seeing this through to the end, and I hope that the end is worth it.
