The trial of Spencer and Locke starts now! After turning the city upside-down to stop Roach Riley, our hard-boiled heroes suddenly find themselves on the wrong side of the law, but what happens when Roach crashes their hearing with a sixty-ton tank?
All in all, the women are given the introductions they deserve and the men exemplify the results of damage they can each cause. While there is still a lot of action packed into the pages of this issue, it took some much needed time to move the plot forward in new ways. This team has made it clear that their world is only going to get bigger from here. Read Full Review

Pepose and the creative team are quickly proving that Spencer and Locke 2 is a multilayered series that looks to address several social issues. I've been invested in the story since the beginning, and I would recommend this series to anybody. Go out and grab this issue and all the ones that came before! Read Full Review

However, Spencer & Locke 2 has found its balance, and this issue has some great moments where they wove things in really well. We also see familiar faces from the funny pages, albeit in decidedly less funny situations. The tie was a nice touch, though. Read Full Review
