Mr. Zero’s plan is a success as weather around the world gets worse and a new ice age begins! Gotham is covered in a mountain of snow and ice-and the rest of the world isn’t much better. To set things right, Batman, Damian, and Batwoman Beyond must declare war on the League of Assassins!
The other part of the equation that makes this issue and story work really well is the art from Sean Chen. Every page is filled with great details and the art reflects the stakes for the characters with some great action and energy. Read Full Review
It's a highly entertaining old-school adventure tale as the series heads towards the big #50 mark. Read Full Review
I am enjoying this book very much with each issue that comes out. Read Full Review
Batman Beyond #46 is a prime example of how to balance a high stakes plot with a focus on character interactions within an ensemble. Any hints of the series' shortcomings in recent arcs have fully evaporated and I feel confident saying this is one of DC's better books currently on the stands. Sean Chen's art is a true standout and some of his strongest work on the series yet. Dan Jurgens' script is quick paced, funny, and ends on an ominous cliffhanger that demands readers to return next month. Read Full Review
Batman Beyond #46 gives us the best, and most dire circumstances. The stakes make the story feel like a true disaster movie, and from where I'm sitting, there doesn't appear to be any hope in sight. While you'll get an issue that looks great here and grabs you right from the beginning and runs your ass as super-speed until the end in how our action is depicted, it did leave me wanting a little more..... like, we never take the time to really explore the things that are heroes are doing since we're moving at such a fast pace and ultimately, with this pace, I wish we could have run past all the bickering that this book is filled with. A little too much bickering but the fighting was exciting and the cliff hanger makes the reader want to see what happens next issue. At least it does with me. Read Full Review
Special mention goes to Sean Chen for some particularly great artwork in this issue. Read Full Review
