Dark Knight News - Ryan Lower

This comic is a blast. The action is good, and the drama is great. Donatello is finally getting the attention he deserves, and I feel like his redemption is coming. But don't worry, Batman is getting his moments too. If you're on the fence, catch up. Batman/ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II is a comic fan's dream. Read Full Review

I just cannot get enough of this story! Even some of the tropes and conveniences that I can see a mile off still seem to entertain. For the Characterization, this book cannot be more dead on. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Brandon Lawrence

This book glows in no small part because of Williams' art. I look forward to it every month. This fight-heavy issue really lets him fly off the handle with some dazzling action scenes. The gold star of this book is actually the unique use of panel boxes. Several of the panel outlines use a stylistic, non-symmetrical design akin to an ink-covered calligraphy brush. Choices like this make the book dynamic and a treasure to read. Who can be upset when there is an off panel stare-down between Batman and Bane among the chaos? This title continues to be one of the most fun books being created right now and I don't know if I'll survive an entire month before the next one. Read Full Review

There is little I can say that is bad about the writing and artwork, but the plothole and ending giveaway are instant points taken off. Overall Im really enjoying this series and cant wait to see the resolution to this story and what Donatello will do and how in control he can keep himself while on Venom. Read Full Review

I continue to really enjoy this series. And while I did find this issue a little short, I also have to consider it might also be because I simply wanted more. But seriously DC, stop giving away the end of an issue with the cover. Read Full Review

This miniseries may not match the drama of Tynion's Detective Comics run, it's still a worthwhile crossover for fans of both franchises. Read Full Review

The series while still mildly enjoyable has just devolved into a series of over long fights, that look great, but don't lead to much actually happening in the issue besides some interesting cliffhangers again.  Williams art is always a treat to behold even if Bane is over the top Kiju levels of huge. I don't see what everyone is talking about. This issue is great, seeing just how far Donnie is going is VERY unexpected.

For now this sequel didn't give me the same pleasure than with the first. I close this issue with a sentiment of a transitional issue, but that would not recognize the fight in the first part & the loose the turtle suffer. I find Batman surprisingly freeze like if he didn't car for Master Splinter. Even Damian go to help the turtle. I tired to wait for Batman to make a comparison between Lois & April. And Tired to see donny Brooding about been a bad warrior (That Not how I see him) and make another mistake. I will go to the end (Because I solicited them), but I will not keep this story in contrary to the first one. I even hope the don't do a third one. If they do, I will not take it.
