Zatanna and the team learn more about the origin of Nightmare Nurse with deadly results for one member in particular!
While I had mixed feelings about Forever Evil: Blight, there was enough to keep me interested. But the hell with all that because without a event holding him back, J.M. DeMatteis is rocking the shit out of the JLD. If you haven't been reading this series, last issue is the place to start because this new story is getting my nerd hard, and everybody deserves to have their nerd hard every once in awhile. So keep rocking it DeMatteis, and I'll keep reading and showing these issues to people like they're pictures of my kids. Check it out. Read Full Review

Overall, JLD is a refreshing, unique take on both superhero and horror content. Ultimately, issue 31 has me wanting to read more, and I'll probably be up all night catching up on the backlog. Read Full Review

Not an origin of Nightmare Nurse but still good issue
This is a much deeper and more engaging read than the other two JL books put together IMO
Interesting
Now that this book isn't caught up in crossover Hell JLD is actually a book I'm enjoying. The art is great and the story has my interest. If I had one gripe it's that the book is finally getting good and would have liked to see Frankenstein make the roster.
