Justice League Odyssey is charging to a great finale. I don't care how much of the original mission remains incomplete. If Jessica and her motley crew can stop Darkseid and rescue her friends, then the next issues will be a wonderful ending to this chapter. Read Full Review

Will Conrad does some great work with the art in this issue. Every page is filled with details, but Conrad really shines in his depiction of Darkseid. The character looks imposing and powerful even in near defeat. A great looking issue. Read Full Review

    Weird Science - Joey Casco CSW/CSS Aug 11, 2020

The art in this issue is great, especially during the two awesome fight scenes. Darkseid is such a force too and he looks great after his big battle, eyes smoldering from his Omega beams. Most of the JLO didn't need to be in this issue other than to have their butts handed to them, but Jessica Cruz did and she accomplished what she's been trying to do for who knows how long now: get one of her friends back. There's also a surprise ending that I for one did not see coming. I enjoyed this issue a lot and I hope they keep it up for the final two issues. Read Full Review

This issue delivers hard with multiple unexpected twists. Some are things we really should have seen coming, but others were huge surprises. The tone of what we can expect, and how we feel about some of these characters has been completely shuffled and shaken up. It's a real testament to writer, Dan Abnett, who's been able to switch the characters' motivations in a way that's shocking, but still reads sincere and true. There's no way to tell what can happen next in a title where allegiances can shift so abruptly. Read Full Review
