"SEAS OF CHANGE" part three! The saga of the Aqua-Man of North Korea crashes to a close! This book is not only the Eastern version of the heroes we have come to love, but in many ways it gives a different and even more interesting narrative. So if you're look for something new, give this one a read. Read Full Review
All in all, this arc has been a great read so far, and the book itself is turning out to be one of DCs best kept secrets. It almost seems inevitable that this title will be canceled, as these little books not starring the A, B, or C list characters that fans know and love often are. And what a shame that will be, given the books uniqueness in the market, with an entirely Asian cast, a location in another country, and quirky, well-developed characters that draw you in over time. If youre not already reading this title, do yourself a favor and at least pick up these last three issues. You might find that trying new things can be rewarding. Read Full Review
As the rebranded New Super-Man and the Justice League of China continues its new arc, it's showing off a wider scope and an interesting focus on geopolitics that merges surprisingly smoothly with a high-fantasy vibe that's served the series well since the beginning. Read Full Review

There's a lot of foreshadowing for future arcs, as the Justice League of China likens themselves to Dragonson and prepare for his imminent inclusion, but there isn't too much development of the story at hand. Too bad, really. Still, this is probably the most compelling story coming from DC Comics at the moment, so I am still all-in. Read Full Review
This is a solid new installment in a consistently above average series that provides only average execution. Read Full Review
What a great fun. Kong went all Super Sayian, Chinese Green Lantern Corps appear, and, of course, the Aqua-Man. Gene Luen Yang is an amazing writer. If he can pull these seemingly random ideas, he can pull anything.
Solid use of geopolitics and the tragedy/disaster that is present day North Korea, undermined slightly by hackneyed team dynamics.
Really confused as to how to speedsters let Batman get captured by the new Green lantern core and then the new Aquaman guy gets away lickety-split at the very end with no follow up by either speedster. I just don’t understand the pacing and it doesn’t really make sense story wise. If superman had been distracted in either of those scenarios for them otherwise occupied I get it but he totally just went super Saiyan and then let the corp get away. Also this ipad keyboard sucks Wtf
