Plastic Man No More! #1 set up the stakes, but Plastic Man No More! #2 showed off exactly why this concept has so much potential. With a consistently amazing quality of writing, artwork, and just about everything else, there is no reason not to pick up this book. I do struggle to rate this book. I think it might be an 8.5 but going to be conservative till I see how the full book plays out rating this issue.
The issue itself has a lot of great points but some clear weaknesses.
Lets start off with the cons first:
1) The way the justice league is written is still hard to grasp. It is clear from the art that this is from his perspective and how Plastic Man views things which are distorted to be overly perfect and cartoony. The league doesn't take his issue seriously enough as he literally sneezes out his guts onto the table then makes a joke and the JL laughs.
