Superman: Lois and Clark may only be three issues in, but it is already my favorite Superman book and may just be my favorite book, period. It really is that good. Dan Jurgens and Lee Weeks are giving fans the characters they want and deserve and while this series is still in the setup phase, this issue pushes things forward so well. Everything that Superman wanted to avoid is happening and I can't wait to see how he gets himself and his family out of this brewing trouble. Issue #4 can't come soon enough. Highly recommended. There are two more brief teases for what's to come before this issue wraps: one involving Intergang and one pertaining to a larger cosmic threat. Anyways, this book remains a treat. I love the Lois/Clark dynamic. I am even warming up to Jon, the thing I was worried about the most in this book. Blanque is a nice nihilistic effete villain. And the art is a treat. Kudos to Jurgens and Weeks for a great comic for Superman fans. Read Full Review

For a bit of diversity in character while staying inside DCs top tier of characters, Superman: Lois and Clark is a different sort of book. There continue to be surprises and a fair amount of tension as the danger of their exposure is always there. This type of set up can be used for long time if utilized correctly. This book has the potential to stay around despite its solicitation as a 10 issue mini-series. No matter, this is a solid book with familiar characters and nice characterization, the perfect series for those readers who miss the pre- New 52 line and those who are looking for something a little different, but familiar. This issue begins to bring the pace of the series up, the exposition is gone and now it's time to get into the action more. Thankfully the action is exactly the sort of worrying drama that you want when you get a comic, yet it still manages to give you that warm fuzzy feeling of knowing that there is a Clark and Lois that are together in the New 52, even if they're not really supposed to be the official ones.
