    The Story: Family dynamics are at the forefront of this issue. However, John Ridley adds in some interesting plot developments that are definitely exciting. I am anxious to know more about Jaces time outside the mask, as well as the happenings at the Gotham City Police Department.Blue and Green palates are used to frame the drawings of Travel Foreman. The color work shifts with time frame and scene intensity. The use of facial expression elicits an emotional response that puts you in the mindset of the characters highlighted. Read Full Review

    DC Comics' solid family drama series is setting up a future Batman but also spending time developing and expanding the horizons of some fan-favorite Bat-related characters. This is not a book to be sleeping on if one is truly a fan of Gotham City and the characters within. Read Full Review

    After three great issues, Ridley ends Second Son on a flat note as he prepares for the next phase in his story of the Fox family and Jace's ascension to the mantle of Batman with I Am Batman. Hopefully, the story ends better than its predecessor. Read Full Review
