The Story: The Fox family is very intriguing. The animosity between Luke and Jace is palpable. It makes me impatient to know Jaces backstory. It also makes me excited for the moment when the two discover their similar connection to Batman. I eagerly await the next installment of this tale.Minimalist artwork is set of by blue and green color palettes. The changes in palettes clearly mark the story changes from Batman centered, to the happenings of the Fox family. The use of character expression adds depth to the characters emotions. Despite the weak artwork, Second Son continues to be a strong book in continuing Jace Fox's ascension to the mantle of the next Batman. Hopefully, Ridley can bring a bang to the final issue. Unfortunately, considering we will be getting another series this year from him, it's more than likely things will end on a whimper. Read Full Review
