"DARK DESTINY" finale! Constantine's quick thinking has bought the trinity some time, but is it enough for Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman to stop Circe and Ra's al Ghul from unleashing the Pandora Pits? Uncertainties mount as Red Hood, Artemis and Bizarro rush in to...save the day?
A major favorite is Superman and Wonder Woman being weakenedto almost human strength. It's not often they're the ones placed in vulnerable situations, these two are commonly compared to gods. Great issue and can't wait for their next adventure! Read Full Review
The final issue of this Trinity arc is definitely an upgrade from the previous issues. The action-packed ending with a few nail-biting moments gave it that Justice League feel you get from the cartoons and theres nothing bad to say about that. The art was much better fitting in this issue and it actually left me wanting more from this creative team. All in all, Id say keep reading Trinity if you already are and if not then next issue might be a good jumping-on point. Read Full Review
I'm glad to see "Dark Destiny" conclude, and doubly so because the conclusion is enjoyable. I may not be a fan of the premise, but at least this final installment manages to entertain. It succeeds in large part by doing away with the annoyances of past chapters, while continuing to deliver first-rate visuals from the team of Marion, Florea, and Ribeiro. Pick this one up if you've been reading the story, or if you're a Marion fan with a few extra bucks. Otherwise, this isn't essential reading, and you won't be missing anything if you pass it by. A shame. It was a strong story arc overall, and deserved a stronger conclusion. Read Full Review
This issue ended the Dark Destiny story and while the art remained solid throughout, the story just couldn't keep up. With all the characters involved, this should have been a fun, kick ass story, but instead, it all fell flat by the end. Read Full Review
Although this was a fun ride to get to the end of this arc, Trinity misses the mark on an original ending to such a strong, mythological concept. Read Full Review
The Dark Destiny series had its highs and lows, however the final issue failed to deliver an epic conclusion but thankfully it was still an enjoyable yet forgettable read… a good popcorn read! Read Full Review
In conclusion I feel that the arc started off with a strong and engaging premise, however as it continued it seemed to peter out. The idea of seeing the Trinity, the magic Trinity, the Dark Trinity and the evil Trinity interact was a cool idea but unfortunately the overall execution was poor. Read Full Review
Trinity isn't holding my attention and I feel I can safely stop paying it. Read Full Review
A lot of the fun character moments present in previous issues are absent in this final issue. There are also numerous plot holes and inconsistencies that make this issue get a lower rating than it should get. I hate to give such a low rating because I really appreciate the incredible amounts of hard work and dedication that comic book creators have to put in, but I really feel like there are some glaring problems with this issue and story that I cannot ignore. this book is awesome. I loved it. without spoiling the story I'll say that the best thing about it is how each member of the Trinity is highlighted in their own way. Superman not as much but clearly there is a moment when .. well... he's Superman and so this situation is in hand :) Batman because he's always the ace in the hole. And Wonder Woman. OMG. What she does at the end and the way it is presented... exactly what I want to see in a comic book. perfect. the art is not for me, but didn't distract, so good enough I suppose.
