Dynamite's all-new ongoing series, in continuity with the epic Gargoyles television series continues!
The Gargoyles have awakened from their stone sleep - but will it be in time to save Maggie the Cat and her unborn mutate child from Thailog and Sevarius? Plus, don't miss the return of Dominic Dracon!
Kambadais delivers some intense, stylish art throughout the issue. The action and intensity of the story is brought to brilliant life through the imagery. Read Full Review
GARGOYLES #2 is a solid issue in the series that brings back familiar villains and raises the stakes. That said, Weisman tries to do a little too much, leaving you with a rushed feeling, and the art quality dips here compared to the previous issue. Read Full Review
Gargoyles #2 is an exciting story that shows us new characters and brings back some more old characters, leaving great potential for more stories to be explored than were on the show. Hopefully we will find out what side Xanatos is on, as well as Brooklyns lover, and the relationship between Tony Dracon and his sister. Gargoyles fans, where do you think the story will go from here, and what could Thailog want with Maggies child? Read Full Review

The flow in story and layout needs refinement, it goes into a flashback at one point but it's entirely unclear that's what is happening. The series just needs to tighten itself up overall. Choose the cast for this arc and focus in on them.
There are so many names. Literally every other bubble is another character and I'm beyond confused.
I want this to work, but with the art being pretty run-of-the-mill and wayyyy more exposition/dialogue then any remnant of action..?
This might be a pass.
