You Don't Read Comics - David Harth Nov 10, 2021

Crossover #9 is the best issue of Crossover until the next one. The way that Cates, Shaw, Cuniffe, and Hill keep turning in issues that are better than the last is frankly stupefying and should put everyone else on notice. The storytelling is on point, the art is brilliant, and fans are getting an amazing story. Those Bendis-speak panels and Elle's protestation are the icing on a delicious comics cake. However, before deciding on anything. Consider the possibility that the art and act of misdirection is a tool in a writer's arsenal. It is not something used lightly or even with malice. The answer is everything you see and everything you are waiting to see. See it? Read Full Review

It brings a certain reality to the question of what if? Read Full Review

Shaw delivers some stellar visuals throughout the issue. Even the quiet moments are filled with beautiful details. I continue to be impressed with the visual Easter eggs found throughout every issue. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - Collier "CJ" Jennings Nov 3, 2021

Crossover #9 continues to unravel the mystery of the Comics Creator Killer while also diving into the deeper implications of comic book characters spilling into the real world. With the issue ending on another murder and a huge clue concerning the Killer, the mystery has only deepened, which only stokes my interest in the eventual reveal. And with how well the creative team has been doing, I expect the reveal to be mind-blowing and satisfying. Read Full Review

I think there's still a little too much going on for a monthly series, but the individual plots continue to get more interesting. Read Full Review
