Crossover #9 is the best issue of Crossover until the next one. The way that Cates, Shaw, Cuniffe, and Hill keep turning in issues that are better than the last is frankly stupefying and should put everyone else on notice. However, before deciding on anything. Consider the possibility that the art and act of misdirection is a tool in a writer's arsenal. It is not something used lightly or even with malice. Like so many occasions that preceded it and will follow it, it is rarely the only tool in use. Where then is the story going? Perhaps it is found in the brilliant art of Geoff Shaw or Dee Cunniffe's salacious colors. Look over John J. Hill's subtle letters and then take it all in one more time. I continue to find this an amazing book, and would still recommend this 10 out of 10 times. If you find yourself lost in dreams and imagination like me for 95% of the day. Then this is an absolute must. Who does not want to live in a world full of the impossible? This to me is a fantasy coming to life through each panel, each issue. Crossover #9 continues to unravel the mystery of the Comics Creator Killer while also diving into the deeper implications of comic book characters spilling into the real world. With the issue ending on another murder and a huge clue concerning the Killer, the mystery has only deepened, which only stokes my interest in the eventual reveal. And with how well the creative team has been doing, I expect the reveal to be mind-blowing and satisfying. Read Full Review
