Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles
Mar 18, 2026Geiger is an outstanding title that never feels like the pace is too slow. The creative team has crafted a compelling adventure that still has so many intriguing twists and turns to go. This is my monthly pitch as usual if you’re not reading Geiger you’re missing out on a truly special original title that keeps getting better. Read Full Review

Mar 18, 2026This was one of those endings where I cursed the last page, solely for being the last page. The story felt too short, until I realized it was the same length it always is; I was just completely sucked in. The story of The Northerner and the Glowing Man continues to surprise, create mystery, and overall has a fantastic story that keeps me wanting the next issue immediately. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Mar 17, 2026It's possible that this particular series works best where there isn't a single identifiable antagonizing character. There's no arch villain here. It's just people trying to survive. There have been moments in the past where Johns was going for a more traditional looking villain. And it's nice that he's moved far enough away from that to just explore the mystery of what's going on without having to dive into more traditional good versus evil archetypes that seemed to be inhabiting the page earlier on in the series. With any luck, Johns and Frank will be able to maintain the energy and momentum, but they found in these past couple of issues. Read Full Review

Mar 18, 2026Geiger #22 is an issue full of heart and really makes the reader feel for the children and our heroes. It is the definition of a feel-good issue and does that very well. It’s also a good connecting issue with an amazing cliffhanger ending. This series is always a joy and is definitely one that should be on your Pull List. Read Full Review

Comical Opinions - Gabriel Hernandez
Mar 19, 2026Geiger #22 delivers a sharply observed, character‑driven breather that invests heavily in Malcolm, the Strays, and the real cost of promising to “save the world,” which gives existing readers plenty to chew on even if the plot only nudges forward. The strengths sit squarely in the writing‑art synergy around mood and character acting plus that well‑timed final twist, while the biggest weaknesses are its dependence on prior lore and the soft‑pedaled Detroit reveal that punts some answers to next issue. If your pull list can only handle one radioactive road trip at a time, this one earns its slot as part of the ongoing run, but it is not the place to jump in cold or the issue that will convert a skeptic by itself. Apr 01, 2026Geiger #22 is a story about finding humanity and remembering to reflect on what life is about in a world that is so unforgiving. "Well-written, beautiful, and memorable" is all this reviewer is left with to say. Wow! Read Full Review

What Johns and Frank are doing here almost exceeds the possibilities of a comic book. Pure magic!

I'm not a big fan of this storyline. I understand the urge to shake things up, but adding time travel to the story completely ungrounds the story. Especially with tanks dropping out of the sky. I did enjoy the scenes with Geiger and the children, but I miss the Knight being part of the family. I'm also looking forward to seeing Ashley ARden again. So, let's wrap up the Northener storyline and move on.
