The plot thickens, as more questions arise! Geiger truly gets better with every issue. I have loved the duo of The Glowing Man and The Northerner. Plucked from very different time periods, and realities, yet very similar. I absolutely cannot wait to see where we go next. I have so many questions, and am absolutely loving how this story has developed and intertwined with other comics from the Ghost Machine world. Read Full Review

Geiger has been a breakout series since it started and hasn’t left must-read status since its debut. This creative team continues to redefine modern superhero action with this title. Read Full Review

Geiger #23 is a fitting conclusion to this crossover event that brings a lot of heart and emotion to the story. Because of the lack of action in this issue the story moves a little slower, however the impact of this issue will be felt going forward. The end of this issue sets up the next issue and what will happen next perfectly and promises to bring back more action. This series is fantastic and should be highly considered for your Pull List if it’s not already on there. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

Plot elements continue to rattle around the page chaotic. However, there's definitely a design behind it all that Johns is delivering to the page with delicious precision. The elements that the author is working with feel very familiar. But they're placed on the page in a way that makes it also very, very interesting. Little moments of happiness like the one the title character entered into early on in the issue. Continue to dangle just enough incentive for the realtor to feel something other than complete hopelessness. It’s just enough to keep the pages turning for another issue. Read Full Review

    Plot
This installment begins with Geiger reuniting with his family in the past. Tracy, Marcus, and Violet are still alive, but this reunion is brief, as he is brought back to his own time with The Northerner at the Department of Historic Preservation.

At the Department of Historic Preservation, a phone rings. It's the woman who recruited Malcolm North/The Northerner to stop the changes in the past during the Civil War (see REDCOAT VOL 2). Apparently, Geiger's trip to the future was not authorized by the Department, just like the Tank. The Northerner is sent back to 1964 because his mission is over. They make it clear that another unauthorized person is using this time machine without the Department of Historic Preservation's co more

Though the dialogue, action, and art are great, I'm not a fan of this story arc. I don't think time travel should be a part of Geiger. However, I know why Johns did it, so Tariq could see his family and to shake up the story. I get it, but I still miss the original team, especially the knight. I hope things return to normal soon. I do like him in WWII, but I hope he doesn't draw it out.
