G.I. JOE #7 sets the bar high for the height this series can hit. Joshua Williamson and Andrea Milana crafted a thrilling secret mission that only Beach Head could've accomplished. That leads to one of the best single debut issues for a character that we have. By the end you will be left hyped for what happens next and look forward to when Beach Head and the other G.I. The evolution of Freedoms fight hits a bullseye with a new force making their debut. Williamson delivers on the drama and action with the writing. I'm still not a fan of this art, but I love what Williamson is doing with the characters. This introduction to Beachead was fun and I enjoy his attitude baked into the dialogue. I'm waiting to see what happens with the Baroness.

Stylistically, Andrea Milana is a fitting fill-in for Tom Reilly, but in regard to quality, the absence of the latter does make a difference. This run of G.I. Joe was brilliant so far - this issue is "just" good.
