The third installment of the high-octane, blood-soaked return of KICK-ASS from MARK MILLAR and JOHN ROMITA JR.
Overall, I loved this issue of Kick-Ass and its dramatic and exciting developments. We are introduced to a new villain who is the apex predator of this town. I'm really looking forward to the next issue, as I'm curious to see how Patience will get out of this new pickle she has found herself in. Read Full Review
Outstanding issue. Mark Millar's head splitting pace is so rewarding and the attention to detail in his writing is superb. Artistically, there is so much satisfying action and gore. Not to mention, we're left with a hell of a nail biting cliffhanger. This new Kick-Ass is a bloody good time. Read Full Review
We get left with a really big cliffhanger in this issue that will have readers pulling their hair out for an entire month while waiting to see what happens next. One thing's for sure. The shit is very much likely to hit the fan. It's going to get messy. Read Full Review
'Kick-Ass' #3 introduces a deadly new nemesis and continues to prove this is a fun, tense and beautifully drawn comic that has a unique place on the stands. Read Full Review
'Kick-Ass' continues to evolve as Patience learns a hard lesson about always staying ready and vigilant. Her overconfidence may have just cost her. The addition of a truly ruthless villain serves as a great wildcard and counterpoint to Patience's more philanthropic endeavors. A new revelation and a gripping cliffhanger will have you white-knuckling this issue. Millar and Romita, Jr. can still thrill like few in the industry. Read Full Review

No matter how clean or brutal the linework may be, it's actively servicing something degrading and not worthy of attention. Keep it. Read Full Review
I'm kind of surprised by how much I like the new "Kick-Ass," but Patience is a likeable character, and this brings the mix of humanity and brutal, crushing violence that the original series did so well. This is a fast, exciting read that leaves me wanting more. And what more do you want from a comic than that?
The old Kick-Ass charm is here is spades with this new pseudosupervillain.
