The climactic return to the SACRED RING!
Thrown before the highest authority for their crimes against the Sacred Ring, will Darak and Solila's newfound alliance hold strong?
THE MOST SHOCKING NEW SERIES OF THE YEAR CONTINUES!
I was expecting a swerve of some sort at some point in this series. What happens at the end of this issue truly took me for a loop. And that shows how great Kirkman is at this. Read Full Review
:Void Rivals #4 impressively continues to build on the intricate storytelling and expert pacing of the series. Robert Kirkman's skillful narrative explores the Zertonians' reactions to Solila's return and offers promising revelations for Darak and Solila's journey. The mix of space politics and humor keeps readers engaged, but occasional detours into setting up the new universe can be distracting. I can positively say this book is one of the best coming out right now. Read Full Review
VOID RIVALS #4 ups the stakes and widens the conspiracy when Solila takes Darak before her leader as a prisoner. The mystery behind Sacred Ring grows increasingly intriguing, the surprise Transformers connection is fun, and the reading experience is smooth as glass. Read Full Review
The latest issue of the sci-fi epic ramps up the political drama as the story takes us straight into Zertonian territory. Solila's homeworld is the stage for the comic to deliver more of its fascinating world-building and strong character development. Read Full Review
The specific story of Void Rivals continues in its own entertaining way, while teasing more Transformers and the larger universe. Read Full Review
Beautifully crafted, Void Rivals #4 adds new dynamics to our protagonists and the complexity of the worlds they occupy. In a story boasting giant transformers, intergalactic mercenaries, ancient species, and so much more, it is incredible that as a reader I am so invested in the lives of two individual characters whose names and races I didnt even know a few weeks ago, and whose fates seem almost inconsequential given the scale and scope of what surrounds them. Yet I am at the edge of my seat to see what Void Rivals #5 has in store for us, and what will come next for Darak, Solila, and their two worlds. Read Full Review
Void Rivals #4 works as a piece of the puzzle. But, on its own it's a bit too easy to guess what will happen. The writing is entertaining and art is great, but its only surprises are weird transitions in its focus, not the story itself. With some small changes tying its to plots together, the comic might have been stronger, but as is, it's one for the hardcore Transformers fans who want to get first appearances and key issues in what Skybound is laying the groundwork for. This is a decent sci-fi story, but an odd way to start Image's new Energon Universe. Read Full Review
The inclusion of a certain character makes this an automatic 10 for me. The only... logical score.
Rest of the issue is phenomenal too.
Yeah this rocks. The betrayal and where it ends is great. I love Darak's response to all of this situation. Like It builds a great plot but I also find it has a lot of pretty funny moments without it being a comedy in any way. Kirkman is doing great. The twist at the end though. So good. Like you probably will see the twist coming but that isnt what I am really talking about. I mean the little details you get from the words used, the tiny background detail. The artists and Kirkman drop a lot of hints and details about the world in that twist. Its great.

I'm really liking the twists. The last issue pissed me off with the betrayal, but that was undone in this issue. She sticks up for him and accidentally reveals that she knows the truth about the species of their enemy, which leads her father to do what he does. The ending is also a good twist. I have no idea how this is going to end, which is a good thing. Keep the surprises coming.
