THE ASTONISHING CONCLUSION TO OUR CIVIL WAR II TIE IN!
• GABBY's life hangs in the balance, with her death having been predicted to be cut short by none other than OLD MAN LOGAN.
• As the shocking prediction looks to be coming true, LAURA's world is torn apart.
• Old Man Logan might be too old to stand against the fury of the ALL-NEW WOLVERINE.
Rated T+
It's a refreshing change of pace for how often events and their tie-ins have heroes fight each other in lieu of talking. That said, Ig Guara still gets the chance to show off his skills, delivering a dynamic two-page spread, and the series' humour is still present when appropriate, resulting in a wonderful conclusion to this arc. The full repercussions of this knowledge remains to be seen. For now though the way Tom Taylor wrote Lauras dressing down of Logan was impressive. She was blunt in her critique of Logans behavior without coming off callous or ignorant. It is a moment like that will help grow that relationship further and strengthen this overall storyline going forward. Read Full Review
All-New Wolverine continues to be an enjoyable comic, and this issue has plenty to work with. But I think Taylor needs to spend a little time building a better emotional foundation for the characters and the story. Read Full Review
This issue closes out the brief arc well enough, but it does feel fairly underwhelming in the end. Read Full Review
We'd love to see Laura interact with other Marvel heroes more, but because they've used Old Man Logan as her introduction into the war, it's left us wondering what it could have been without him. Imagine Laura interacting with Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Miles Morales – it'd be amazing. But still, this storyline has been great up until this point as it starts to slow down a bit. Tom Taylor and Ig Guara do their best to make this Civil War II tie-in issue important, but in the end, it's as unnecessary as most of the other tie-ins have been. We get some good interaction between Laura and Old Man Logan, but by the end, everybody presses the big, old reset button and we move on from there. I won't lie...there aren't many reason not to skip this issue. Read Full Review
All in all, this is an good addition to what is one of the best series out from Marvel currently. I highly recommend if you haven’t gotten into Wolverine yet, that you get caught up because Enemy of the State II is coming next month and it is sure to be a wild ride. Read Full Review
Despite the disappointing elements here, this series earns our attention because of its core two characters. If you aren't already reading All-New Wolverine, be prepared for Laura and Gabby to be your new favorite characters. Every interaction between them is a delight. Read Full Review
6/10 from critics. No way! Their rankings are scored terribly!! This is a strong 8.5 to 9!
Solid comic. Don’t see why this issue is getting lower than usual reviews
Old man logan was a bit out of character compared to his main book.
