• Erik Larsen returns to the book he revolutionized back in the 90's with a story that will remind you why!
• Legends Gerry Conway and Mark Bagley team up for a KILLER Spidey story that'll keep you guessing until you read the last page.

Though not perfect by any means,Amazing Spider-Man: Going Big (in which nobody really goes big, but I digress) is nonetheless a solid collection of arachnid-centric tales (with the exception of four pages in the middle). It's fantastic fun to see Gerry Conway, Mark Bagley, and Erik Larsen back to swingin' with ol' Web-Head, even if the end results aren't exactly earth-shaking. Read Full Review
If you’re a fan of any of the three writers on this title, I would recommend picking this up. Odds are, if you like one of them, then the others will be just as fun for you. The stories are fun and quick, with solid-at-least visuals that tie everything together. Give it a shot if you’re itching for some older style Spider-Man. Read Full Review
By the issue's end, fans will know a bit more about one of Spider-Man's contemporaries after a satisfying reveal is offered up in a deadly cliffhanger. Read Full Review

Erik Larson nuff said
The Bagley and Conway stuff was decent, but yikes Erik Larsen has lost his touch on spidey. The art in his story looks terrible compared to Bagley. The stories in this book are also pretty lackluster. Can't recommend this for a 4.99 comic
It's a Spidey anthology packed with anthology-grade work. Nostalgia for one or more of the "grandmaster" creators involved is the only reason to pick this up, and if you peep over the top of your rose-colored glasses, I think you'll agree that these fellers are doing sound-but-unspectacular storytelling at best.
On Ralph Macchio's 21st-century work: I grouse and I downrate, but there is something pretty cool about a Bullpen veteran putting out new, simple comics suitable for the very youngest Marvelites.
Gerry Conway as always proving that he's one of the best Spider-Man writers of all time, managing to do a really enjoyable story, unfortunately, the ones from Ralph Macchio and Erik Larsen are really weak, specially the one from Erik Larsen, i still find his rendition of Spider-Man to be really unique, but the story is really bad.
I really enjoyed the Conway/Bagley story. Too bad Ralph Macchio and Erik Larsen have to come in and tank the score.
Eh, the first story was okay.
