Really good ending! Some great action and characterisation, though it ends quite abruptly, but I do believe this will definitely be followed upon in some future stories.

I wanted more of Sentry but it seems like this is more of Nova then anything. hopefully they make more Sentry with cosmic story.

This was probably the weakest issue of this whole event, which is a shame as the lead up to this was actually really good. And I've made jokes about the point of this event, or rather the lack of it, but that feels extra ironic now that there really isn't a point to this. But hey, at least they didn't kill Richard Rider again after just bringing him back.

This was okay but felt a little... hurried? Pointless? I don't know.

I wanted to like this more then I did. I enjoyed all the issues leading to this conclusion and the ending certainly had potential and some good stuff, it just felt a bit off.
Spoilers
Novas return with a whole bunch of reinforcements was great BUT taking a close look at who was there was a problem. Maybe I missed something but Airwalker died in the original annihilation. Did I miss his return somewhere? And was that Frankie's Reyes Nova who died way back in Silver Surfer 75? And as far as I'm aware hasn't been mentioned since? And Rage from the New Warriors I hear died recently in that Venom/poison event. (I didn't read it) so I found three characters who should not have been there. I'm not against character resurrections but I like
an explanation, even a bad one.
Art was just okay. Little drop in quality from the issues before. Not awful but nothing special.
Not really buying how the cancer is just obsessed with Nova and doesn't actually care about the rest.
The humour was gone mostly.
All in all, it's just okay and fell short of what could have been awesome

I thought the Alpha issue was alright, and I loved the next 4 one-shots but man, what a let down. Annihilation: Scourge Omega is a tale of 2-halfs. The first half of this issue is a bunch of choppy dialogue as the the Fantastic Four, Silver Sentry, and Beta Ray Bill all gather and team up. The second half of this issue is a huge, uninspired battle scene between the Cancerverse and the FF's band of refugees, plus a whole army of every Marvel cosmic space character that Nova assembled and randomly appeared with. This whole issue was just so stupid. The whole reason the Cancerverse is destroying the Negative Zone is because Richard Rider was cured from them like half a decade ago, and he's "the one that got away". The heroes defeat the void b
y Silver Sentry flying into him. All that, and Silver Sentry just flies into him problem solved. Richard swallows the entire Cancerverse. The entire cancer verse, I'm not joking. Sentry shoots an eye beam at Richard and he pops, both Richard and all the Cancerverse dead. Everyone then lived happily ever after and with a last page twist, Richard gets resurrected by Annihilus! Rosenberg killed off Nova and brought him back 9 pages later. I'm sorry for the language but this was some shit. I thought the Silver Sentry was cool, and there was some nice art so I'll give it a 4. more

"It's mostly a buncha space gibberish, now that I think about it."
Between Scourge and 2099, hopefully, Marvel has learned that "no miniseries only tie-ins" is not the recipe for a successful event.
