INTRODUCING...PANTHER-POOL! (YES, REALLY!)
A classic Marvel team-up gone terribly wrong! Who could have predicted it?! Luckily, there's an easy solution. All the Black Panther needs to do is give Deadpool a bullet-sized chunk of the world's most precious resource and let him return to New York in one piece. Wait, you say that's a terrible idea and that T'Challa would stop at nothing to keep Vibranium out of Deadpool's homicidal hands? WELL, YOU'D BE RIGHT! But how do you get rid of an unkillable pest? Buckle up, True Believer, because the Black Panther's about to do the unthinkable!
Parental Advisory
Kibblesmith weaves quips, action, and heart in a genuinely effective way, and Lopez Ortiz's art is fantastic. Read Full Review
We see T'Challa in “NO” mode from the jump. It doesn't seem as if he has assessed all the issues before him and the line of hero vs villain is not as blurred as it should. It feels like depending on character bias you could lean on either side. In an experience like this, I should be cringing for rooting for either side. Read Full Review
This was another fun issue of Black Panther vs Deadpool and while the actual story pretty much followed the standard formula of the series, I had a smile on my face while reading it. There are jokes aplenty and a cliffhanger that was absolutely crazyeven if we know it wont stick. Thats always a part of the good times of a book like this and Daniel Kibblesmith and Ricardo Lopez Ortiz seem like they are having a blast! Read Full Review
It made md laugh alot and to whover made this they did a VERY good job :)
Another hilarious issue, Kibblesmith has the character voices on lock.
Funny, funny stuff with enough comic book adventure to thoroughly enjoy IN SPITE OF the talking head ridiculousness. #rootingforwillie
Not one dull panel
Deadpool gleefully randoms his way to a one-in-a-million win over the Black Panther, but T'Challa's got vengeance on his mind. After wandering a bit, the POV comes home to roost on Wade's shoulder in this issue. I enjoyed the overall absurdity of the plot, and Deadpool is definitely characterized right to excuse/explain it.
This is fun, but maybe a bit long too. Too much reliance on humor, and too little plot to speak of. But still real fun.
This was alright! There were some moments that made me smile, but also many that did not.
