Black Widow is a visual feast that's so damn cinematic we may not need a film. This is it. It's just as good and action aficionados need this in their life. Read Full Review
I really enjoyed reading this comic. It showed Black Widow trying to save these girls from the life she had. She knows how they trained, she knows what happens after and she want to stop it. Not only for the good of the world but I think a little bit for her own soul. Rate 4.5 Read Full Review
Mark Waid and Chris Samnee did not waste any time in establishing what is on the line for the final issue. Black Widow #11 effectively set the stage for the final issue of this series to go out with a bang. The conflict between Black Widow and Recluse cannot be any higher as the latter has raised the stakes in a way that puts the world into danger. Samnee's phenomenal artwork throughout this issue only helps to amplify the tension created by the story as it progresses towards its inevitable end. Read Full Review
Having spent the better part of the last arc focusing on various betrayals and hidden secrets, issue #11 lets Natasha do what she does best. The resulting read offers an electric display of the skill set Black Widow is known for, the one-woman army facing off against a bevy of similarly trained foes. Read Full Review
Natasha finds the last girl and tries to convince her that she is being used by the Madame. The last girl is using a SHIELD worker as a shield and taunts Natasha by saying the only way to stop her would be to shoot through the worker, and Natasha wouldn't do that. Natasha takes the shot, which goes through the person and hits the girl. The girl turns out to be Recluse who gains the upper hand, and the last panel is of the girls using the keys to destroy SHIELD. The next issue does not bode well for Natasha, but hopefully, she has a couple tricks up her sleeve to save the day. Read Full Review
Natasha fights the Baby Widows for the soul of SHIELD. This surprising set piece wasn't what I was expecting to tie up the dangling plot threads - in fact, it does very little of that - but it's an incredibly exciting and satisfying high-concept fight. There's definitely a positive "Die Hard" vibe here. What's most impressive is that this feels like it will be equally satisfying for faithful readers of the title and casual folks who might be unfamiliar with prior issues.
Art and overal look of the comic, really gives me a spy/thriller vibe, however this particular arc is kinda boring and predictable... But the characters are amazing so I cant wait for next issue!
Every issue of this series is great. Check the panel where Natasha stands over shattered glass, each piece with a classic-Marvel image reflecting her past, and the shard she is standing on reflecting the little-girl assassin she once was. I have to stop thinking about the fact that this series has only one issue left and just enjoy it. But why, one issue left, why!?!
Last issue was a miss. But now we are back to the high velocity action packed Black Widow we come to expect. I love the ending and I can't wait to see how things pan out!!!
Good issue with a great end that puts this second arc of Black Widow over the top from the 1st
That last page. Wow!
The gist of Nat owning the rugrats was clear but not so much the visual choreography of the issue long battle was not so clear. The duo-colour is understandable but got drab with the unclear movement between panels. This ish would probably translate better to screen. The cover is akin to cheap namedropping as none of those icons appear.
This was just okay for me. :(
