Soule has actually gone on record that he feels it is his job to make it hard for his successor to continue. While Matt isnt dead yet, he looks to be building up to one heck of a climax. Buckle up, readers, because the Soule crazy train is starting up for one last run. Read Full Review
While I'm still not sure that it's necessary for Daredevil to die, this is shaping up to be a fantastic storyline in spite of that. Read Full Review
Phil Noto's art is amazing. It perfectly captures the tone of this story and I loved the style and how it evolved over the issue. Read Full Review
There's a frantic feel to this issue, as if Matt knows that his time is running out. And while there's sure to be a twist to the whole "Death of Daredevil" arc, Soule and Noto manage to make this comic feel like the end might actually be coming soon. Read Full Review
Daredevil #609 kicked off Charles Soule's final story arc with a great sense of urgency. There is no time wasted in getting the final act in the latest war between Daredevil and Wilson Fisk into action. Everything that happened in this issue built a proper amount of intrigue around if "The Death of Daredevil" will live up to its name and end Soule's run on a memorable note. Read Full Review
I loved this issue, and even though “Death of....” stories are used FAR too often, they always tend to be deep and entertaining reads. So far, Death of Daredevil is no exception. Oh, and Elektra’s back!!!
A random but serious accident puts Matt into hurry-up mode for taking down Mayor Fisk. The universe senses his rush and throws plenty of interesting curveballs at him, including a mysterious new antagonist. Most everything here - especially the art - contributes to a promising feel of rising action and impending greatness.
Really enjoying this series. Sad to see it ending soon.
Okay I like this comic and all, but first it teases me by making me think Bullseye is going to be there, and then it brings Elektra back? Poor form.
Another new villain. I'm getting spoiled.
