The Weapons of Vengeance gives readers exactly what they want out of a Wolverine and Ghost Rider crossover and then some but it is a shame it only lasted four issues. Because of this, it feels like there are a lot of great ideas crammed into a small space. Read Full Review
I was hoping for a stronger conclusion, but this was still good for what it was. I do wish there was either a little more substance to this, or perhaps that it was just more fun. Perhaps even both simultaneously. Either way, I do feel like a crossover between these two should have been a bit better, especially considering that Percy is more than capable of writing really good stuff. Like I said, this was far from bad. However, I was hoping for more from this.

Benjamin Percy and Geoff Shaw’s heavy metal adventure featuring Wolverine and Ghost Rider has been quite the ride. Weapons of Vengeance Alpha was as strong start to the mini-event, introducing an intriguing storyline and featuring some really fun art. Ghost Rider #17 came next, filling in backstory with an interesting introspection on it’s titular character and laid the groundwork for a showdown. Then came last week’s Wolverine #36 which sloppily cranked the storyline up several notches in a rushed manner. Unfortunately, the mini-event’s finale, GHOST RIDER/WOLVERINE WEAPONS OF VENGEANCE OMEGA #1, continued that trend and the story fell apart under it’s own weight.
