In a dark weapons program breeding subjects specifically for magic use, the 23rd attempt, now called Wanda, was finally able to connect to violent magics - making her one of the deadliest people on the planet!

Out of the spin-off comics from Infinity Wars, Weapon Hex is quite different and probably the newest feeling story of the bunch. With the introduction of Speed Weasel and the continuing shadow of Mephicththon, X-23's future is bleak. I can't wait to see where she fits into the larger story. Read Full Review
The Infinity Wars Event has brought us a lot of "warped" characters, but Weapon Hex is the best one so far. The story isn't bad, but it is pretty straightforward. Even so, the art and number of warped characters make up for it, and make this comic wroth reading. Read Full Review
As with the remaining titles, this issue suffers from trying to squeeze in more warped characters than necessary. Regardless, Infinity Wars: Weapon Hex #1 didn't leave me bored. Read Full Review
I think my biggest gripe with Weapon Hex #1 is that it doesn't feel like an original concept. Instead we get another re-telling of Laura's origin except this time there's you know… magic involved. There's very little “Scarlet Witch” to be had in this melding of the two heroes. I understand that it's a mini-series set during the current “Infinity Wars” event but overall it just feels pointless and doesn't do much to add on to said event. Read Full Review
If Weapon Hex is any indication, this is going to be an event that will be quickly forgotten. Read Full Review
Outro 10 pq realmente. Vocês não gostam de uma coisa e logo parece a pior coisa do mundos não é. Muito menos e a melhor coisa do mundo.
Isso é no máximo um 6,5. Mas não um 5 muito menos um 2 3 ou 4.
Weapon Hex #1 is basically X-23: Innocence Lost condensed into one issue, with Laura gaining Wanda's magic powers. This addition really didn't change all that much and the story didn't really cover any ground X-23's main 'verse origin story didn't already. If anything, shortening the story the way they did blunted the emotional impact of Innocence Lost, which is a shame because the original story could bring grown men to tears.
The twist at the end was teased so subtly early on it's likely you'll have forgotten about it, yet it becomes quite obvious a direction to take in hindsight.
This was just a rushed version of Laura's origins, with some magic in there. Meh.
I think someone didn't understand the concept at all !
I waited for this one particularly. I love Scarlet witch & like a lot All new wolverine.
But there you have just X-23 origin in a mystical way. Ok Bova with a new name are there, that's all for Wanda (With the cliffhanger).
Ok this happen in Wundagor but frankly that could have been anywhere else. Ok there is magical atmosphere but not many Wanda cast.
Agatha Darkness a mix between Cloak & Agatha Harkness, but I don't think Cloak is from X-23 cast. A mutant yeah but still.
Elsa Bladstone is Elsa Bloodstorm & witch character ? Same for Hellhound maybe punisher + Johnny Blaze. But each aren't from both character cast easer. For the rest of the convenant or the Mid more
Yeah this one didn’t work for me, which is a shame because I like the characters. The art really bothered me.
