I’ve found the 10s in cases like this are more about people supporting the person behind the book rather than just what the actual book is. Tini has a small but vocal following who will put 10 just to prove a point.

Everything about ‘Knights of X' is just a winning combination as the series continues to develop these characters on their quest, and brings a truly important and much-needed moment to beautiful life. This new era of X-Men stories was about making big changes and bringing new stuff to the line and titles like this fully embody that notion and show just what is truly possible and needed with these characters that we love so much. As a character-focused drama,Knights of X #4 adds satisfying wrinkles as we explore the innermost self of these characters. Representation matters, especially in X-Men comics, and Knights of X delivers. Read Full Review
Were entering the final lap in this four-year-long story, and while I have some issues with the story Tinis telling, Im not going to take the shine from Rachels coming out. To Rachel, and her queer fans, we finally got it! Read Full Review
In a "Reign of X" line that's already been exceptionally dense with its rich storytelling, Knights of X is the creme brulee of the bunch. Are people crazy enough not to see how rare and amazing this book is?
This issue has some really beautiful ideas for developing its plot and characters. The writing and art do a lot to convey those ideas; I think the storytelling is well above average all around. And yet the fact that the premise excites me more than the execution leads me to conclude that the execution could/should be a bit better.
This is good. The ideas could carry it to greatness, and I wish they did, but it needs some more storytelling horsepower.
I don't get all the 10s. A 10 is an instant classic we'll be talking about 10, 20 years from now. This was just decent. Rachel/ Betsy, fine, but it seemed unearned despite the clues being dropped inartfully in advance.
