• Who is STARLING?! ...And is she single?
• Er, we mean, is she going to help stop Tombstone, or is she about to make the .45-thousand-caliber war for Brooklyn even deadlier?
• The last thing he needs is another complication at school. Good thing high school is, like, a very chill, logical place - oh wait.

Miles Morales Spider-Man continues to be one of Marvels best books on the stands. This issue introduces a compelling new character to the Spider-Man mythos. Like Miles, we can only trust that the disparate, unconnected subplots tie together in future issues. Read Full Review
This was a fun issue, on the whole. I love that there was so much going on, even if a lot of it was just smaller moments. In fact, I still maintain that the highest impact in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #6 was actually one of these "smaller" moments. Read Full Review
Saladin Ahmed is truly beginning to shape Miles as a character. I love how his story is being told: with some humor, great characters, and situations that really put Miles to the test as a superhero. Most of all, it feels grounded, which just makes the writing all the better. Read Full Review
This book feels so much like a Spider-Man character without being Peter Parker. Both the art and the writer is superb to when it comes to Spider-Man! However, I need more from Miles life. The deal with Barbara needs more explanation and give Ganke more time with his buddy! That friendship is squad goals! Do like the new character Starling and hopefully we see her soon whether it's a cameo or for longer. Highly recommend this book. Read Full Review
Another solid entry in the adventures of Miles Morales has been completed. Miles meets a new potential friend or foe in Starling. Starling may even become more than a friend to Miles in the future, especially with Barbara seemingly not wanting anything to do with Miles. After taking down Tombstone, Miles will now tend to some family business. Read Full Review
All the ingredients are there for an interesting and engaging story, but Miles Morales: Spider-Man #6 ultimately comes up short in terms of emotional investment. Hopefully better things are in store for Starling! Read Full Review
There's nothing in much of this issue that hasn't been played out with dozens of other teen superheroes in a very familiar fashion for decades. It's the last few pages that keep Miles Morales engaging. Read Full Review
I just love this fun book! It's just enjoyable in its old yet new feel. Ahmed and Garron are a great team! Curiel shines with his colors.
Really enjoyable issue. I hope Starling doesn't become a love interest, though.
Miles teams up with Starling to clobber Tombstone. It's pretty well-worn ground when it comes to introducing a new super-teen, and Miles's soap opera entanglements remain a little scattershot. I was pleasantly surprised by how endearing Starling wound up, though; I'm looking forward to more of her.
A solid issue.
