'Miles Morales: Spider-Man #7' is a dramatic and dangerous look into the everyday life of Miles Morales, executed to near-perfection by a talented creative team. Read Full Review
Miles Morales: Spider-Man continues to be one of Marvels best titles right now, and issue #7 is a solid entry that ends with a great cliffhanger. Highly recommended. Read Full Review
This interesting and heartfelt issue of Miles Morales: Spider-Man adds to the more grounded, character-focused tone of Ahmed's take on Miles. The team has struck a good balance between important character moments without detracting from the action-packed superheroics that we crave. Nailing down the struggle of Miles's personal life and superheroics is honestly the core of any Spider-Person's story. With the changes Ahmed is adding to Miles' life, I'm ready to see more. It's an excellent example of how a superhero series can take a break from non-stop action in order to set up the next big cliffhanger and batlle, something the final pages of #7 do very well. Read Full Review
Miles' family is given the spotlight in this issue to positive results. Miles family provides him with positive support and potentially devastating complications to his future. The conflict with Tombstone is over for now, but a new enemy is watching Miles from the shadows. Read Full Review
Miles Morales: Spider-Man features a solid Spider story but the contrasting art styles make it a jarring reading experience. Read Full Review
We really don't get much here in sense of pushing forward with story or character moments really. We get a snippet of scenes from Miles life. Both super and normal life. This felt more like a breath issue after last story arc. The issue however, does plant some seeds for future stories. The dialogue was good! But it was the art that weakened the book. Saladin Ahmed does a great job so far with new characters and this new character that Miles faces off against, seems to be a great foe for Miles. Bring on the next issue! Read Full Review
Issues such as this can be tricky to pull off, but I believe this one has done it well. Ending sets up the next arc well.
Ahmed writes a great miles and the art fits the book well. I really enjoy this run.
My nephew care so much about right and wrong. He really think he can fix this... Garbage around us"
"I Never had kids. But i got Miles. And that old man in the barberdshop was right:Everytime i see him, that boys show what's possible."
A solid issue. If you like the characters, you'll like this.
#7's rotation through different artists and points of view is structurally impressive, but it feeds into an ongoing and unwelcome feeling that this volume is telling Miles's story in little vignettes that aren't tied together tightly enough.
Pretty good.
