Parental Advisory
The mission is set for real now. Hawkeye is looking for his former Thunderbolts teammates and now after finding out what's going on, so is Bullseye. We can't forget we have the Venom bonded survivor of the gang he killed looking for Hawkeye too with the symbiote bonding. This one could explode anytime now and hopefully it does next issue. I've been enjoying this book so far but this by far took it to the next level this was an emotional exchange I honestly wasn't prepared for. A great story please check this out if you haven't. OLD MAN HAWKEYE #3 hints at many former storylines in Marvel, showcasing how vast this dystopian world really is. Ethan Sacks flexes his writing muscles with intriguing character dynamics, while Marco Checchetto and Andres Mossa continue to make this such a beautiful book. Read Full Review
Old Man Hawkeye is turning into a very tragic story, one filled with a bit more heartbreak and nuance than its Old Man Logan predecessor. Read Full Review
This creative team has good intentions and some good ideas but they aren't the best fit for this story, which needs a lot more work to succeed. Read Full Review
The story is taking shape and it is awesome!
Hawkeye's first vengeance kill at last reveals his intentions. His quest and his motivations are workable but not novel; as a revelation after three issues of build-up, they're slightly disappointing. Also slightly disappointing is the art's ability to move the story through fight scenes. The characters' actions get lost in a storm of debris and detail. This story is a bit above average, but there's also clear room for improvement.
