I would say you should pick this issue up but you'd probably be jumping in at a spot that makes no sense. To be honest, you'd have to jump in about 6 to 8 issues ago to really make sense of the entire thing. If you have the time, I would because it's a great story. If not, I would wait and buy the trades. The storytelling is great as well as the art. Truly a spectacular job by this creative team.  Read Full Review

An uplifting issue full of moments of heroism, sacrifice and redemption that is still fun with great art throughout. Read Full Review

While the best moments of this story arc came early, it still manages to end on a high note. Read Full Review

Welcome to the Oblivion Bar where the first round is on me and the pretzels are free! Be warned: like the pickled eggs at the bar, this issue is going to get SPOILED rotten.

Let’s recap. Peter, his sister Teresa ( yup he has a sister if you’re just tuning in now), and J. Jonah Jameson go back in time to stop the Vedomi from invading New York City. Why did they go back in time? Well, the Tinkerer was the one who kind of brought the Vedomi here from something he did long ago. Anyway, they go back in time and have a blast.

“Future” Pete works with “new Kid Spider-Man” Pete and they put a stop to tons of his bad guys stopping the Tinkerer, Otto, and even Norman Osborn. “Future” Pete thought things went gr more

This continues to be my favorite Spider-Man book out right now. Just so much fun and heart that you can't go wrong at all.

The story wraps with a big victory over Norman Osborn and lessons learned for multiple Peter Parkers. It's a satisfying remix of classic Marvel beats reorganized into a novel story. A little weakness in the visuals (particularly character design) closes the door to all-time greatness, but this is still a very good read. I like that in total contrast to how this time-travel story started, the end leaves behind a vibrant AU that's worth revisiting.

For the first time in this whole time-travelling arc, I kind of felt it was getting old, so, appropriately, it ends here, and it ends in a cool way. I was pretty tentative through the first half of the issue (and I believe I rated every other issue of this storyline 8.5-10.0), but I think it rounded out nicely. The Spidey from the upcoming PS4 game looks sorta stupid, not for the white spider, but for the clunky wrist and anklets. But the concluding page was super cool. As a whole, this arc doesn't really go out with a bang, but certainly not with a whimper either.
