Punisher Central - Neil Byce Mar 5, 2014

At this point...if this is the direction that the Punisher is going in I am seeing a bright future. Also, can we please get some new Punisher merch from Marvel featuring Gerads skull? Also, where is merch that featured Checchetto's skull? C'mon Marvel! Read Full Review

Punisher Central - Ivo Santos Mar 5, 2014

Mitch Gerads gives life to this comic, not only he gives colors but he give an amazing sense of "motion" in every issue, specially in the action scenes. He did a great job in developing Electro and all the lightnings that surrounds the character its really an amazing effect. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Sam Roche Mar 5, 2014

Punisher keeps rocking as we near the climax of the first arc. The only thing I have to dock points for here is the torture scene which was totally uneeded and only made you care less about Frank. Read Full Review

    Hyper Geeky - mcknight57 Mar 17, 2014

I'm really hoping the creative team gives us a perfect issue here soon, otherwise the whole thing will really just be about average. Edmondson and Gerads are just a trigger-pull away from perfection " it's really close, but what was the old saying? Close only counts in horseshoes and hand-grenades. Read Full Review

Comic Vine - Gregg Katzman Mar 5, 2014

Edmondson and Gerads continue to prove they're an appropriate fit for the character. Castle's blunt and vicious mission remains firmly in place, yet a likable supporting cast and some legitimate charm gives the volume a nice sense of balance. There's plenty that'll appeal to longtime fans of the character and just enough established to help make it a refreshing and appealing experience to those who think the anti-hero is too one-dimensional. There's a whole lot of potential in this volume and watching it all unfold is plenty of fun. Welcome back, Frank. Read Full Review

Comic Spectrum - Chris Stark Apr 1, 2014

Mitch Gerads does a stellar job showing us the Punisher we know yet bringing in different aspects we rarely see, like Frank smiling. The coloring on the book is also more vibrant and brighter than I've seen in recent Punisher stories. One page is completely cooler colors, bright blue and purple. I cannot remember the last time we have ever seen that. I decided to wait to let this book go a few issues before making a statement on its quality. However, I have to admit, I enjoyed issue #3 just as much as issue #1 and the story continues to grow into a very interesting tale. I hope the creative team sticks around and keeps up this pace for a long time to come. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Milo Milton Jefferies Mar 6, 2014

Despite this though, The Punisher #3 is a very strong book with Edmondson and Gerads being a very good creative team and each issue looks and reads very well. Castles supporting cast is well developed, with Loop already shaping up to be the next best thing since Hawkeyes Pizza Dog. Just as this comic is shaping up to be the next best thing so if youre a Punisher fan or a newcomer wanting to read about Frank Castle for the first time then what are you waiting for? Go back and catch-up. Its a great read, and this series is quickly reaching must-read status. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jesse Schedeen Mar 5, 2014

Mitch Gerads remains the book's major selling point There's nothing too impressive about Gerads' figure work, but he has a talent for framing his panels with unusual and dynamic perspectives. And he injects life into this world through various visual gags and background details. The sudden move to LA means that Punisher's surroundings are more important, and that's something Gerads is able to capitalize on nicely. Read Full Review

Weekly Comic Book Review - Hugo Robberts Lariviere Mar 6, 2014

The division of scenes makes for a problematic pacing and some of the elements aren't very well integrated to the structure of this issue, yet the good amount of action and the quality work of Mitch Gerads makes this an acceptable and enjoyable reading experience nonetheless. Read Full Review

At the end of issue 2 we learn Frank isn’t just up against some 2-bit generic novela cartel, they have a secret weapon. That secret weapon none other than the Super-Villain Electro. (This obviously has nothing to do with the new Spider-Man movie and the fact Electro is a major villain in said movie.) From the very first pages we see Frank is in over his head and he treats it like any other threat and works with he’s got then and there (a fully automatic gun and his wits to defend himself from a guy who is a deranged killer with greek god-like powers). People have been having problems with this Marvel-Now Punisher, (“Punisher isn’t supposed to interact and be friendly with civilians and drink coffee at a diner, what is this Se more
