For now it is enough to say that this is one fantastic book, with a great story and wonderful artwork, that is well worth reading, whether or not you've ever been a fan of Carol Danvers as Ms. Marvel, Binary, Warbird or Captain Marvel before. Read Full Review
THE LIFE OF CAPTAIN MARVEL is one of the, if not the, best Captain Marvel stories abound. This issue reaffirms why. Read Full Review
The conclusion of this series is both affirming and tragic. Stohl has done a great job of wrapping up the story in a way that hits on several emotional beats. Read Full Review

Carol Danvers fans should be pleased with how the tale ends. It's a satisfactory conclusion and a touching final scene which sets up future issues and also brings Captain Marvel full circle as she discovers who she is and her purpose in life. A new beginning is on the horizon and these past five issues make us hungry for more of what Mighty Marvel can bring their Kree warrior. And, of course, we are all in anticipation for what the first Captain Marvel movie will bring us in just a few months. Read Full Review
This issue has some clunky moments, but if you've been following this story you will more than get your money's worth from the conclusion, and the future for Captain Marvel looks as bright as ever. Read Full Review
The Life of Captain Marvel goes out with a whimper, tying off its new plot threads with the weakest, most convenient knots imaginable. It is a profoundly unsatisfying finale, offering up mainly the hope that future creators will pick the knots apart and treat these ideas with the passion and creativity they deserve. Read Full Review
I'm not a fan of this ending. I fully understand that Captain Marvel's mother can survive. But I'm not fond of the fact her enemy teleport herself like this. I even find it weird to not see what Carol do of her brother.
Cover - Very Nice & somewhat related. 2/2
Writing - I'm full of question about this issue. I think their is a lot a thing to improve. 1.5/3
Arts - I'm more fund of the art for the flashback than the present day. I still hate the look of the alien woman. 2/3
Feeling - Like for the first two issue Mixed 1/2
The series wasn't bad but the dialogues were cringey for me in too many moments.
While not as bad as last issue, this issue only works with the new origin that I don't like. There's shreds of emotion in this and I would probably be more receptive if this miniseries hadn't made such a unnecessary and baffling retcon for no real reason. We still don't know if the movie will follow through with this origin. The trailer made it seem like it won't. But even if it does, that's no good reason to change things.
I mean, like, okay, cool, whatevs.
