Kicking off a two-part story with guest artist STEVE EPTING!
• The War of the Realms rages on. The only way to defeat Malekith is for the realms to join forces, and it's up to Thor to bring them together.
• Heroes from across the ten realms - including Lady Sif and Angela - have united under Thor's command to form a new League of Realms with the sole mission of bringing this war to an end.
• And their first mission: Infiltrate Dark-Elf-occupied territory...

The absence of Russell Dauterman has not stopped Aaron from giving us a fierce over the shoulder view of his epic War of Realms. Read Full Review
There are plenty of laughs to be had, though as usual Screwbeard steals the show ("Still not sure why Thor is pretty girl now"). But with a showdown with Malekith and his forces on the horizon, the level of drama remains high. Read Full Review
In the end, I was totally entertained by The Mighty Thor #13. I'm stoked to see the War of Realms progress, and I loved seeing these characters together on the page. Jason Aaron is a scripting beast and Steve Epting is always a sure bet for solid art, and The Mighty Thor #13 lived up to my expectations. Read Full Review
Steve Epting is filling in on the art chores for this installment and his work looks amazing as ever. There is also the punch to the gut that the very first panel provides as we watch Jane having her hair cut off, preparing for cancer treatment. It is a stiff reminder of just what awaits this woman ever time she has to put down the magical hammer. Good Stuff. Read Full Review
Good to see the League of Realms back! Epting's art is great here too.
Jason Aaron continues to surprise me issue after issue. A mainly female League of Realms to free Alfheim from Malekiht's yoke? I'm in! And Steve Epting's art is tremendously beautiful.
Not only has Mighty Thor succeeded in weaving one, long story, it has also kept me consistently entertained. The League of the Realms was one of my favorite parts of a story arc I didn’t like (Thor: god of Thunder 13-18) although the absence of Dauterman for the art does hold this issue back

A D&D ready team in a raid gone wrong. Kind of fun, but nothing special so far. I want to see more action from this mountain giant, she's cool.
