From the beginning of this series, the characters have been weighed down with hard decisions. They swore themselves to secrecy and pledged to take out the world's most dangerous threats to mutant-kind, and they even contemplated the idea of having to take one another down, if it came to it. Remender brought those ideas to a brilliant crescendo, and now he looks poised to continue this series with the same amount of heart, viscera, and Deadpool toilet humor. Read Full Review
The Dark Angel Saga is over and while this isn't an official 'aftermath' issue, there is some fallout addressed. It's great to see mention of everything that just happened rather than immediately moving on to the next arc. The trade off is we don't have the extreme action we've been used to for the past...18 issues. There is a lot to see here. This is almost a turning point for the series and characters as they need to take everything that happened along with Regenesis and figure out what happens next. Read Full Review
"Uncanny X-Force" is suddenly a mess of random jigsaw puzzle pieces. They won't ever truly fit together for standard coherence, but the opportunity for abstract art and experimentation is much more exciting than conformance. The last story shook the infrastructure. If you like comics that occasionally slow down and just have the characters interact with one another without fighting supervillains, then you'll dig this issue. If that sounds tiresome to you, and you'd prefer more crazy antics, skip this issue and come back next month. You'll find what you're looking for. Read Full Review
A much needed laid back issue after the Dark Angel Saga. Pretty much an aftermath issue, in fact. A great issue that lets you stop and breath before we journey to Otherworld for the next arc. Only thing wrong with this issue is how horrible the art is.
