Venom #12 continues the journey with Dylan and the Venom symbiote in this new issue. The writing has a good balance of both emotional and physical conflicts for Dylan and his allies to deal with. The art by Bryan Hitch gets to shine with Dylan, the Venom symbiote, and Sleeper when he sees action. The ending will definitely surprise some fans, especially fans of Donny Cates' Venom run and leaves some interesting potential for what happens next in the series. Read Full Review
This issue is pure comic book goodness from cover to cover. Epic, bizarre, bold, artistic, awesome.
This was a step-up from the previous issue, in my opinion. I did end up liking Sleeper after feeling unsure in the last issue, and I also liked the dialogue between Venom and Dylan here, primarily Venom. I kind of like Dylan's new Codex persona, but I'm not completely sold on it yet. He looks like a mix of Venom and Knull, which does intrigue me. With Dark Web coming up, I'm interested to see the direction this series takes.
A bit too much. It's turning into a mindfuck and I'm not the biggest fan of it.
I've been liking this series so far, but this issue was not for me. It felt like it tried to add too much at one time. Overall, enjoyable, but it should give some time to develop better.
I like Edgar Winter's Winter Soldier cosplay there at the end.
