Nerd Initiative - gangstermegan
Jun 12, 2024I'm loving all of the Blood Hunt comics coming out but this one felt like it made the most sense for the character. Like I mentioned before, I think Jubilee is pretty underrated and this showed just how helpful she can be just by using the knowledge of her past. X-Men: Blood Hunt Jubilee is a lot of fun and an interesting look at how other vampires are looking at the Blood Hunt situation. Read Full Review

I love Jubilee as a character but this was just kinda meh overall. Art was very meh, the story was cool but the dialog was meh. Blood Hunt has been very good so far and even most of the tie-ins have been at least good, I'd have to say this is the weakest one so far but still not bad. Just meh.

This was fine. It wasn't particularly bad by any means, but this just didn't really have a whole lot for me to latch onto. I appreciated the fact that this leaned into Jubilee's past as a vampire and that this dealt with her empathy for the vampires she's forced to fight, but, at the same time, something just felt off. Maybe it felt surface level? I don't know if I'm using that term correctly, but that's how I can describe how I felt about it currently.
