That was great.
The story was much more enjoyable than the first arc and the art was excellent. I'm really into it.
Tom King's I Am Suicide run might be a little clunky and off-putting dialogues but it's not without its charm where Batman and his gang of misfits pulls off a heist only he can dare and plan for. The story works well and the art is no doubt stunning with the last two Rooftop chapters actually making me ship Bat and Cat--oh wait i already ship them.
All the developments in Gotham leads to none other than Batman's own Suicide Squad.Witness as Batman infiltrate Santa Prisca for a near impossible heist. The biggest highlight of the book is None other than Batman's squad assembling and ultimate revelation of his plan.Plus the volume is action packed with Batman confronting a new version of cloth less Bane and much more. The only factor that pulls the book back is the new take on Bane which might not be not everyone's cup of tea.On the whole it is a fine variety volume compared to its predecessor.
I did not like this volume that much. Everything Tom king set up in the first volume regarding Batman seems gone here. Nothing is explained and he is making decisions that don’t seem like Batman. I hope king improves in the next one.
the more and more characters im become familiar with the less i care/want to read about batman
