Rushed first issue, the writer seems to want to get rid of Chips status quo as quickly as possible and the story suffers heavily because of it.
Kuder is a good artist but his art doesn't fit for Daredevil. After the last tremendous run this needs to be special and it simply isn't.

There's an interesting story wrapped up in the predictable Tom King go to tropes. Once again another story seemingly born of his participation in Iraq with the CIA. Once again another ludicrously over the top incident takes place and we're left with the fall out. Side not I'm not sure why Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad aren't part of the teams gathering the Amazon's seems like better choices. more

My real question is that if Tom King has such guilt about his role with the criminal CIA organization, what actual reparations has he personally made about it. He has enjoyed wealth and privilege from his CIA organization, and I never hear where he is donating what he earned during those years to those not privileged and those who did suffer the boot that he supported. He talks big. But murder seems to be a normal value for King as a writer. Something seriously wrong/messed up there, DC Comics
I mean the villain states inthe dislogue that they'd need waller so its not a stretch to say the SS will likely show up

After Zdarsky’s run left us with us with so many questions, this new #1 unfortunately doesn’t really give us any answers. On top of feeling very rushed, some things actually didn’t make sense or connect with how Zdarsky left the character. Also the art didn’t do it for me really, that’s just IMO

I can't think of a worse kick off issue to an event. Truly terrible from Tini and Chips idiotic premise to Hawthorne's very rushed and sloppy art. Nothing works and I feel this event will just get people to drop Batman. Since no one reads Tini's Catwoman I can only hope Gotham Wars' failure will cause DC to finally wake up and remove her from Selina. With a new writer being tasked to rehab the cha more
