Well, the art is nice. The story made me realize something — I need to cancel my GL subscription. This is absolute trash.

Mr. Morrison: stop it. We know you can write a good story. We have seen it before. Do you just hate Green Lantern?

Green Lantern #10

By: Grant Morrison, Liam Sharp
Released: Aug 7, 2019

Twelve parallel worlds! Twelve Green Lanterns! And one unstoppable menace! Hal Jordan joins the Green Lanterns of the Multiverse-including Bat-Lantern, Tangent Green Lantern and more-to save a dying Multiverse, defeat the relentless Anti-Man and embark upon their "Quest for the Cosmic Grail"! It's another Morrison/Sharp science fantasy epic!

“Have I told you about our Lord and Savior, Grant Morrison, who can do no wrong? We must go to all corners of the internet to defend him!” All-Star Superman: amazing. Batman run: Amazing. GL run: shit. Even John Lennon made bad songs, man.

I hate most of Morrison’s work. His Green Lantern is no different. I want him off or at least give me a another Green Lantern title written by a better writer who is stoned all the time.

Not that I'm aware of, but I do find his writing to be horrible.

Agreed. His writing is great if you’re a stoner. If not, it’s a bunch of bullshit.

Sorry to hurt some of the Morrison fanboy's feelings, but this is yet more garbage by Morrison.

Green Lantern #8

By: Grant Morrison, Liam Sharp
Released: Jun 5, 2019

Green Lantern teams up with Green Arrow to stop a cosmic drug cartel that's using Earth as its main distribution base! It's a  brilliant homage to the team-ups of old, as Morrison and Sharp do the 2019 version in a story we can only call "Space Junkies!"

If you're not a troll, explain why.

KFuqua - Jun 10, 2019

Because it was just more of the same from Morrison. Make it bizarre and my fanboys will think it's too cool for everyone else, when it's actually just not enjoyable to read.

Absolute worst thing that Grant Morrison has ever written. If there was a Grant Morrison scale, this would be the “0.” It’s almost as if he took a story that he had planned for 80 pages and just randomly chose the pages to keep.

So far, this has been the best issue of this run. This story was good, but really should have been a multi-story arc.

Green Lantern (2018)

One of the worst Grant Morrison writings and one of the worst GL stories post-2000. With quips that attempt at comedy but end up just pure cringe, such as one character trying to sound young by having catch-phrases such as “swipe left.” This entire issue reads like a bad Facebook meme on a page titled something like “darn kids these days.”
