This tie-in miniseries has been a fun and heartfelt trip from start to finish. Highly recommended for dads, daughters, Frost Giants, and everyone in between! Read Full Review
Castiello's art strikes the right balance between dramatic moments of dialogue and aggressive fight scenes. The script allows him to move pretty fluidly between both in a fantastic setting that glides between the concerns of the four heroes and the danger of what they're trying to do. The fantasy feels very earthbound. The grandeur of a towering castle of ice in the middle of Florida could have been framed with a bit more of a sense of fantasy that Castiello manages, but the flow of the drama and the action might have suffered. Williams had a very definite idea of how the rhythm of the story needed to be approached. Castiello was wise to follow that rhythm without attempting to frame too much of the visual immensity of ice giants in a final show-down in Florida. That being said, it's too bad that there wasn't more time to explore the fantastic visual potential of the story. Read Full Review
This mini ends strongly enough. Honestly, if you just read the last issue with some minor context clues you get the whole story. Read Full Review

The final issue of this short tie-in is the weakest, but it holds together well enough to see the story come to an end. Read Full Review
The Giant-Man mini is over and it was not very necessary and to be honest, not very good. There were little tidbits of fun here and there, but this mini lacked character moments and development, had pacing problems throughout and didnt make much out of its very basic story idea. Read Full Review
I feel like Giant-Man had something to say. Unfortunately, the story is so muddled throughout that it's hard to actually get anything out of it other than frustration. Read Full Review
I suspect in an earlier draft, this was a much stronger story. The plot mechanics made sense and the character's individual themes were all clear. But that story would need 4 or even 5 issues, and the creators messed things up good condensing it all down to 3.
This felt really rushed and jumbled. It needed more than three issues or maybe an adjustment in its tone.
I feel like Giant Man got progressively worse as the series went on. In this issue, Tom, Scott, and Raz get no characterization or development at all. Erik somewhat develops after he reunited with the Frost Giant-aligned Moonstone. The art was solid but it was pretty obvious that Leah Williams didn’t know if she was writing a rescue comic (For Scott’s daughter Cassy) or a revenge comic (For the dead Loki). Pretty disappointing that these 4 didn’t avenge Loki by killing Ymir
Well, I’m glad it’s over.
