With Superiority Comes Responsibility! If you ask me, THIS sounds much better than the original. Superior Spider-Man #8 gave us a perfect conclusion to Superior Spidey's inclusion in the War of the Realms event. I can't help but be impressed by all of these creative teams who have shown us that we can have tie-ins without feeling as though we are spending money on something that you would otherwise call filler. The West Coast Avengers were never going to be up to the level of some the other super hero team-up. But here it feels right. It feels like that thing that was missing has suddenly been acquired, and I'm hoping that Marvel will find that it has enough going for it to steal away a few issues from something else. This issue was really fun.

Otto and his "minions" bounce into a few other realms before his "win the whole ballgame" ambitions fall apart. But Gwenpool, yes Gwenpool, restores his purpose and morale with a superb motivational speech. The plot's transparently a vehicle for delivering sassy chatter, but the chatter is top quality. The art is polished and nicely-blocked, though a little short of memorable.

Superior spider man is a great and fun read. This might be one of the weaker issues but theres something about this series I really like.

I wish books weren't dragged into second rate crossovers. I have no interest in crossovers, and even less in the West Coast Avengers.
